North Point (or Rocky Point) lies northeast of Similan Island 9. Here, you can explore rock formations, fringing reefs, and exciting swim-throughs. It’s accessible to all dive levels.
A deep pinnacle sits further out, where lucky divers might spot sharks in the sandy channel. The deeper rocks are covered in giant sea fans, while near the island, two boulder channels lead to a shallow reef filled with staghorn and hard corals.
Look out for Ghost Pipefish, Pygmy Pipehorses, eels, stingrays, turtles, octopuses, and cuttlefish. About 300 meters northwest, another pinnacle covered in soft corals and sea fans drops to 40+ meters, making it best for advanced divers. Strong currents here require caution but may reward divers with leopard shark encounters.
